La Rafal Gran is a large, impressive villa, recently renovated, is in a peaceful, much sought-after area of the town, nestling in the picturesque Colonya Valley next to the medieval Roser Vell chapel and is only a 15-minute stroll to the Main square of Pollenca Old Town. You approach the villa through the sliding gate and up the drive con sus slightly elevated position Which Gives far reaching views of Pollensa town, the Traumontana Mountains and the impressive Puig de Maria. There are steps and a wheelchair ramp leading to the front door. From the entrance area, to the left hand side is a small cloakroom, with wash basin and toilet. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor. The twin bedroom, at the front of the house is light and airy with Two large windows, on one side looking out over Pollenca Old Town and the other the Puig de Maria Mountain. This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower (a small lip on the shower) and fitted wardrobes. There is Also a double bedroom on the ground floor, again light and airy with Two large windows, one overlooking the pool area, and the other with views of the Puig de Maria. This bedroom has an ensuite Also bathroom with walk in shower. There are two further bedrooms upstairs. At the front of the house is a twin room with sea views in the distance. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with full bath. The double bedroom has views of the pool and Puig de Maria, and has an en-suite bathroom with shower. The spacious lounge / diner is open plan with a large table for dining inside, with plenty of comfortable seating and television (with limited Inglés speaking channels). The kitchen leads off from the dining area, modern fitted units, complete with microwave, dishwasher and large fridge / freezer. There is a separate utility area with the washing machine. From the entrance area there is a sweeping staircase, leading to a smaller lounge area or reading room, the views from here are fantastic, the Old Town of Pollenca, the Tramuntana mountain range and in the distance the bay of Puerto Pollenca. Two sets of double doors from the lounge / diner lead out onto the covered terrace, with a wooden table and chairs for outside dining; there is plenty of space here for relaxing in the shade. There is a brick built barbecue covered area near to this, and dining furniture. The pool is fully accessible - gradually sloping down from a very shallow end, this outside area has magnificent views of the Puig de Maria and the monastery at the top. FREE WI-FI
